The fifth round of the Tata Steel 2013 tournament featured a nice finish to a game between Haridrishna and Van Wely.


It was a very risky game; many Sicilian games are.


This one gave the impression that White was stretching the rubber band beyond the breaking/snapping point.


I wonder if Van Wely saw the final mate in two moves. Can you?


The position is below and after the first move (one move) Black resigned.


It shows that all of these players are human and chess is a vast/vast game.
