All games were drawn this round.

.

 THE fighting game of the round was between Leko and Caruana.

It featured the most dynamic/fighting variation of the French Defense -

the Winawer – Poisoned Pawn Variation.

Around move 31 White (Leko) had Ba6+ and Qf1 which left him well on top and most likely winning.

After that ‘slip’ the game ‘fell apart’ into an opposite Bishop ending.
