Tata Steel 2013 / Round 13 / Final

Tata Steel 2013 / Round 13 / Final
As stated after round 12 – Magnus Carlsen wins the tournament.

He drew his last round game but had actually won the tournament last round even IF someone wanted to catch him.

Congratulations to Magnus – He sure makes it look easy.

In this last round Karjakin was a real Dragon Slayer (Van Wely playing the Dragon) – See Diagram.

Anand lost his last round to a rather innocuous Scotch Game – fatigue perhaps after a long a hard tournament.

Nevertheless – Anand gets the applause for the most beautiful/profound game of the tournament (Round 4).
